📍 DoubleTree I'm a hotel girl. Always have been. While I also enjoy the cozy charm of holiday cabins and unique Airbnb stays, hotels are mostly my nr. 1 option. Things like a clean room every day is something I look forward to when I get back to my hotel room in the evening. Same at our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Luxembourg, a 4-star hotel. Here’s a rundown of our experience. Warm welcome cookie 🍪 While we were getting our room keys, the hotel staff handed us warm welcome cookies—a simple gesture but a perfect way to start our holiday in my opinion. As I was already biased, the cookie tasted delicious! R. gave me his cookie so I got to enjoy two cookies! Lots of closet space at the doorhall. You can also find the kettle here to make coffee/tea or cup noodles if you want. Arriving Munich

  EN At the moment I'm sitting at a local café writing blogs and this August month, I've released 4 posts already!! Today's post will be the 5th #soproud.  Yes, I'm having a long slow Summer break of 6 weeks off. Great time to have quality time with my blog and to relax. Hence I'm currently in a café place right now. And like last year it's another staycation one with a few weekends outings to the neighbour countries such as Germany and Belgium. It's nearby and it's nice to have a change of surroundings. I missed traveling a lot you see.  I had Luxembourg in mind too but the Covid-19 is still among us and restrictions change every time. It is stressing me out so I've decided to drop Luxembourg. For now.
