HOTSPOT: Cafe Elefant

Image
EN One day in Karlovy Vary ( fuller post here ! ) is not complete without a bite and a drink so when we were walking along the beautiful streets of Karlovy Vary we spotted this cute and promising looking café: ‘Café Elefant’ and it was about to rain too and seeing that Café Elefant has a covered terrace we make this place to be our shelter too. Karlovy Vary is truly a beautiful town but also quite an expensive one too and I was kind of bumped out that most shops/restaurants here do not have a debitcard device and you were pretty much forced to pay in cash. A note to myself and perhaps to you all if you ever decide to visit Karlovy Vary . Café Elefant is a cute lovely looking café in modern and Victorian Style. And they serve one of the best cakes I have ever seen and tasted! But promising, it wasn’t. I wish I could say the same thing about the service because the service was: not welcoming, a bit cocky and when the bill arrived this...

A day in Karlovy Vary

Image
EN And here’s finally the super delayed post about my 1-day holiday in Karlovy Vary last summer. Yeah it is that delayed. The reason for that is: I lost my memory card with the pictures in it for awhile ( it was hidden well in one of my jeans ) but I got it back thank God but when I got it back I also had moved on with my other blogtopics and my other latest happenings in life that needed to be blogged about as well and so Karlovy Vary had to wait. So we dropped a quick visit at Karlovy Vary which is 125km away from Prague where I spend my summer holiday last year! I didn’t know what to expect from Karlovy Vary but I quickly learned that this town has the same beautiful style of buildings like Prague . And it is also a lot calmer and cleaner than Prague as well. Unfortunate Karlovy Vary is expensive. Especially when you decid...

HOTSPOT: Lo Veg

Image
EN Oops - I kind of lied because I told that this post here will be my last Prague post but today I bring you another post about one of my adventures in Prague! It's because I have made too many pictures, I can't see it clearly anymore. Anyway, this time I bring you a hotspot: a 100% vegan restaurant called ‘ Lo Veg ’! Veganist, vegetarians and pescatarians like me, you’ll embrace this place! I sure did c: I’ve Googled about this place beforehand and I was really excited about the menu and their vision! So for our last meal I want to have a good meal so I was on a mission to find LoVeg which is set in a beautiful building. Not so strange of course since all buildings in Prague are insanely gorgeous. The food was lovely, made me feeling a lot healthier and the service was great as well c: NL Oepsie – ik heb soort van gelogen, want deze post hier is niet mijn laatste verhaal over mijn vakantie in Praag, maar deze is! Denk ik. ...
