Ardennes | Trois-Ponts🚵‍♂️

Last summer, R. and I visited Belgium and stayed at the holiday park Landal Village Les Gottales, located on top of a hill. We had a cute little cottage that was fully furnished and provided all the things we needed. Though, do bring enough toilet paper.

Although I normally prefer hotels because of their daily housekeeping, this time we took care of everything ourselves. Luckily, it was no hassle at all. The cottage was small and cozy, which made our five-day stay feel very homely.


📍Location: Trois-Ponts Belgium. 
The name means 'Three Bridges'.

Make sure you bring enough toilet paper.

The view from our cottage is lovely. 
Also, be careful of the bugs. We kept our door most of the time closed. 

Small kitchen with a coffee maker machine (didn't brought any coffee so that stayed untouched), a stove and a mini fridge. 

This was the first and last meal I cooked in the cottage. After that, we ate out every day. And yes, that's a instant hotpot. I was curious how that would work, and it was interesting!

At the holiday park you can play table tennis and jules de boules.

EN Or you can call them ‘scrubbies’ but I use them to create whip cream for my crochet cakes and cupcakes! They also make great home decorations by putting them into a maison jar! Did I just inspire you to make them as a gift for your friend, mum, girlfriend..? I’ll say: go for it! EN This week is officially my back-to-work week from my 6 wonderful weeks off Summer break. And like always it takes some time to adjust, to get my inner work engine warmed up again and like always take a deep breath. It’s kind of the same feeling going back to school but instead of school it’s work. Yay. Since it’s my first work week and it’s first of September why not kick it off with a DIY post. BIRDY & Griff concerts

The year of 2024 was the year of concert visiting: BIRDY and Griff. That brings my total to just three concert visits in my entire life. Yes, wow,  not that many, ha! I’ve been a big fan of Birdy ever since she released her cover singles Skinny Love and People Help the People , so I was thrilled to finally hear both songs live at the Caprera stage. She sounded absolutely amazing and crystal clear, just like on her studio recordings. By the way, Caprera is a gorgeous open-air venue. If one of your favorite artists ever performs there, I definitely recommend going! My second concert was in Belgium to see Griff live at De ROMA. De ROMA is a beautiful Art Deco cultural center and performance venue in Antwerp. I started to love Griff because she’s half Chinese and half Jamaican, she writes and performs her own songs, plays piano and guitar, and even makes her own clothes from thrifted pieces. Talk about multi-talented, right? She’s still so young, and I’m really rooting for a success...
