Brugge with KH

A while ago, I went to Bruges, Belgium, with my brother Kar Hang, who has autism. Since I had a summer break from work, and I thought he deserved a little break too #bigsistercare. I live very close to Belgium, so we decided to drive to Bruges, parked the car, and then explored the city on foot.

Here are the places we visited, the food we enjoyed, and the things we did.

📍Van Mullem
We had lunch at Patisserie van Mullem. Lovely café with lovely cakes, but also lunches such as homemade soup and sandwiches.

Ending the meal with something sweet and a cup of cappuccino.

Blessed with warm weather.

Booked a boat ride for us. It was fun.

📍Marco Polo Noodle Bar
As an Asian, I always crave Asian food, and so with the help of Google Maps, I've found a noodle place called Marco Polo Noodle Bar.

Always nice to order kimchi as a starter.

KH had Pad Thai, and I chose Pad Woon Sen with prawns. It wasn’t entirely authentic, but I didn’t notice much MSG but maybe my taste buds just fooled me. Either way, it tasted comfy and tasty.

After the meal, we walked it off by strolling through Bruges.

Then it was time to head back home.
