Getting fed and rained on in Luxembourg City
The inevitable just happened; we got rain that day.
In a country such as Luxembourg with a land climate, it was bound to happen to rain anyway, even in the Summer of 2023. So here's what we did and spent our day in Luxembourg City!
Luxembourg has many depths—literally and figuratively. We were glad that the winding roads through the city were connected by beautiful bridges like this one.

I giggled here as we stood together like colleagues.
I could definitely use those road signs to guide me, but my boyfriend only needs a quick glance at Google Maps and his uncanny sense of direction takes care of the rest. So basically, I just trust and follow him.
Follow the lead.
Tip: On Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. you can enter the museum without paying an entrance fee!
Behind me is this fascinating elevator.
Of what I can remember, this History City Museum of Luxembourg City is quite interesting with diverse topics, such as how the city was built, to objects that are found over time. I did not get bored once.
And he, as a historian, did neither.
Of course, it didn't rain all day.
~ Ladurée ~
Ah, finally a bucket list moment unlocked: visiting a Ladurée café.
At the same time at the back of my mind, this is probably a bit overrated and unnecessarily wasting my money too. Or at least that is what my bf says. Nonetheless, it was my money and I was treating us both.
So he has no choice but to sit down and join me :)
I got myself a tart with a strawberry on top so cute, it felt wrong to gobble it up.
A pistachio eclair for Mr.
I also tried the infamous hot cacao. The texture was quite thick, but since the weather was rainy and chilly, it was a comfy, heartwarming drink. But would I order it again? Probably not.
Then we went to a department store.
SEED
And then it was dinner time. We tried Seed as it was empty and hoped that not all tables were reserved.
And hurray, we got a table for two! Pssst, it's an all-friendly-vegan place too!
I got a veggie burger while my other half got a delicious and much healthier-looking poke bowl.
As they say in Luxembourg: Gudden Appetit!
The vegan dishes look so good! Glad y'all had a good trip
