TIY: Mindfulness Christmas Cards

EN

Yes! Finally a crafty post with not a DIY but a TIY: Try It Yourself. I came up with TIY because I feel like it has a much approachable feel for everybody, less pressure and non-committal.
Either way, it's ok to see it as a DIY as well.

So mindfulness.
It can be anything from heavy therapy sessions to meditation or crafty activities hence this Christmas Cards making post.
I used to make my own Christmas cards from scratch and send them to my loved ones. Nowadays I got no time for that. Too busy!

Too busy yes, but you can still make your own personalized cards by 50/50 it: 1. you buy a ready made card and 2. you add your own touches to it! Ok, doesn't it feel some weight has gone off your shoulders already? Productive, creative in freedom here's how you do it.

Ja!

No fancy tools needed for your own personalised Christmas cards because what you need are tools that are already there in your house like coloured pencils, markers, pair of scissors, old magazines and advertisments folders. And if you`re like me who loves craft (and collect crafty things) you might have cute washitape, foil confetti and glitter stuff to make it extra merry!

Freedom of artistic
When you have gathered all your tools and potential pretty makers it is time to be creative and be free. Take a good look at your cards, at the colours, your old magazines and get inspired.
A good tip is: try something first on a blank piece of paper.

  1. These are such cute Christmas cards! I love how creative these are, and I also love seeing others also making their own Christmas cards. It's definitely becoming more rare but I hope to never lose that art.
