A day in Tsim Sha Tsui 02

Tijdens mijn verblijf in Hong Kong heb ik vele
plekken bezocht waaronder ‘Tsim Sha Tsui’.
mijn Kantonese woordenschat.

There was a (free) exhibition that we have attended: 'Explore Our Heritage'. Basically all about Hong Kong history.
I was pretty impressed about this exhibition as I did not expect a free exhibition would provide this much seeing materials and activities (you can play games and watch movies and draw stuff). Also became a bit wiser about Hong Kong as well!
A walk through 'Tsim Sha Tsui District Park' and hoping that it will clean and freshen up our lungs from the smog out there...
Funny how the weather in Hong Kong can change drastically from nice blue sky weather to a tropical shower rain. Literally felt like taking a shower, look at my dress! What I've learned: always bring an umbrella.
Dinner in our belly.
Nice! Erg herkenbaar @ Chinees praten.
love the quality of your photos! and lol I hate rainy days in Asian countries, they are so sticky!

Hong Kong looks so fun! It's always been one of my dream vacation places. The weather looks so good there - very jealous as I'm sitting at home with a sweater!

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Hong Kong since I was like 6 so it's so nice to see some beautiful photos that you have taken :) I do remember the food being super delish though! :)

Dinner looks delicious. Isn't it great to learn a little bit about your heritage?

ReplyDeleteDe gratis tentoonstelling is echt prachtig!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your sweet words, they made my day!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable dress, I love the colour on you!
Have a great week,

Hong Kong looks like such an amazing city!! I really want to visit - thanks so much for sharing these beautiful photos!! xo
ReplyDeleteYour style is so cute and so great, love the blue dress. :o)
ReplyDeleteI want noodles now..!!
Haha I'm the same with my cantonese - I have to substitute the words I don't know with english so I sound so dumb when I'm talking to someone from HK! Once again your posts are making me super eager to go back. If all goes to plan, I'll be returning sometime this year (fingers crossed!)

ReplyDeleteHong Kong my birth place!! miss it!

I've learned that lesson too haha!
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky you got family in HK and they can bring / show you where to eat, etc etc. when i went to hk last year's christmas, we didn't really get to explore tsim sha tsui much. what a bummer. and then the second time in causeway bay and to central, no guide either so we kind of randomly walked and ate around... sigh.
ReplyDeleteanyway, when you were in hk, was there any warning about typhoon? lol hk turned into a dead, post apocalyptic zombie town when a typhoon's being warned >w<
i love your maxi dress and the necklace you wore with it!
