Calm before the storm

I’m addicted. And no no, not
to drugs or alcoholic beverage so don’t worry, but to: yoga! I get up each morning
and do atleast a good 20 minutes of
yoga and on Sunday a killer 60 minutes!
I don’t do yogaclasses (saving
money) but I follow videos at Youtube (oh yeah, saving money). To mention a
few: Tara Stiles and Ekhart Yoga. They are the best.
Mainly I want to increase flexibility,
balance and to calm myself. I’ve been doing it for a good month now and I
feel really good.
So if you have sore lower
back, lack of energy or want to able to do splits, I can really recommend you
to do yoga c:

Ik ben verslaafd. En nee, niet aan drugs of alcohol
maar: yoga! Sinds ik een yogamatje bij de Action (€4!) heb gekocht,
is er geen ochtend geweest zonder een goed 20 minuten yoga! En zondag zelfs

Ik volg geen yogaklassen (want geldbesparen) maar ik

Hoofdzakelijk wil ik flexibeler worden, balans
vinden en mezelf kalmeren. Ik doe het nu al een maand en mijn lichaam voelt
goed! Dus, als je een zere rug heb, gebrek aan energie of je wilt de split
doen, dan kan ik yoga zeer aanraden c:

I go to pilates classes, i want try yoga in home, because its expensive on classes ;)

ReplyDeleteIk wil het ook graag doen elke ochtend (of opseminst een beetje stretchen en oefeningen),
maar ik hou het nooit vol..
Toch denk ik dat ik binnenkort ook maar zo een matje ga halen haha :)

Oh wat klinkt dat zen! Ik zou willen dat ik ook wat meer controle over mijn leven had haha. Ik ben de laatste tijd bijna niet meer met sporten/gezond eten bezig, moet mezelf echt weer even een schop onder de kont geven. Yoga lijkt me trouwens echt leuk! Liefs, Rowan

ReplyDeleteInteresting how you chose to learn Yoga online instead of following classes. ^^ I was debating whether I should start following Yoga again in Amsterdam, but the fees are quite expensive to me and I need to save up my money. :( So this post have helped me a lot with my dilemma. ReplyDeletei used to do yoga! but i couldn't keep it up. i think maybe i was doing it wrong because my joints hurt a lot. whomp whomp. those oatmeal pancakes look amazing! drooling here!

My anatomy/physiology teacher had us do yoga in class the other day! It was surprisingly difficult to stay balanced, but I really enjoyed it. ^^

ReplyDeleteaaaaa!! pancakes!! i've always wanted to make one at homeee :( but i'm no kitchen personnn psshh and well, the people in my house are always thinking of how much of a hassle it is etc etc and that it will create a mess in the kitchen whatsoever -___-;; sigh. and then in the end, i'll get complained like, "why do you have to act like a western kid, with all those complex lunches etc" -____-;; they think me eating salad is me eating "complex luxurious lunch" wtf haha
