Some snack haul
EN
We all have our guilty
pleasures, good/bad habits and perhaps even fetishes. One of mine: checking
out foreign supermarkets and grocery stores. I don’t know why, but I just
have this huge interest to see what foreign shops sells and what brand of
food they have!
So my summer holiday in
Of course it didn’t just end up in a simple visit, a purchase is also crucial. I always try to find unusual
things but I have to say that Spar had similar products that we in The
Netherlands have. Still, I have managed to buy snacks that I have never seen
before and that’s what I wanted to share in today’s post with you guys! Please

We hebben allemaal onze ‘guilty
pleasures’, goede/slechte gewoonten en misschien zelfs fetisjen. Een van mij:
buitenlandse supermarkten. Ik weet niet waarom, maar ik heb alleen altijd al
een grote belangstelling gehad voor buitenlandse supermarkten/winkels. Altijd
leuk om te kijken wat zij verkopen c:
Dus mijn zomervakantie in
Scroll
naar beneden!

I bought a roll of lemon flavored biscuits, Czech wafers (hazelnut and coconut flavored) and some baby biscuits.
It's nice that Spar has it own budget line c:
This one got lemon taste - pretty nice!
I love foreign supermarkets as well.... or maybe just any supermarket in general, haha. The treats you got look tasty, especially the one that looks like a pie :)

I love checking out foreign supermarkets too! Within my time in New York, I have already explored Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Eastern European supermarkets. c:
ReplyDeleteGoing to the supermarket in a foreign country is one of my FAVOURITE things! Usually when I'm in Europe I get a good look around while hunting for non-sparkling water, haha.
ReplyDeleteThose snacks look super yummy!

ReplyDeletei like going to grocery stores too! um, not every grocery store - i guess it's like you, i like foreign grocery stores and i love checking their imported goods section, especially if they have variety of asian food products - ahem, especially japanese condiments and such.
i remember in hong kong, my family and i always go to wellcome grocery store near our apartment and we bought cherries like crazy because the cherries in hk are super cheap, wayyy cheaper than in indonesia TT>TT not to mention their section of japanese snacks!
those biscuits look like they'd be awesome companion for afternoon teas. i tend to buy biscuits like those too to drink my tea with (and pretend like i'm some aristocrat having her one o'clock tea time ;u;)
Love checking out supermarkets while visiting a foreign country! I think I love more this type of self souvenirs than any other thing I can buy :) We also had Spar supermarkets for a little while here, but it has been a long time since I've seen one so maybe they are no longer in Barcelona. Which was your favorite snack in this haul?
ReplyDeleteThat food looks so yummy !

You are a girl after my own heart - I always load up on snacks in whatever foreign country I go to. Visiting the supermarket is one of my favourite travel activities :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love visiting grocery stores (even just my local ones!) haha :P
ReplyDeleteBut we do have random "American-styled" stores pop up in Australia and I absolutely loveeee going through all the different candy flavours and odd jars of marshmallows! haha
Which one was your favorite?
ReplyDeleteNice, enjoy the sweets hun!
ReplyDeleteAlways need to have our delicious snacks! Right now I am craving some dried mangoes and green tea kit-kat :)
ReplyDeleteHmm those baby biscuits look so cute ^^
ReplyDeleteGood on you for trying new things! It's not always easy to find people that are willing to venture out of their way to do that. I'm a huge fan of finding farmers markets in the places that I go to and just walking around like a local.
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing when I get to travel abroad (there arent too many specialized supermarkets here :( )
ReplyDeleteI love packagings, most of the times I end up buying thing that I don't even et just because they came in a cool box or something hahahah
Haha, twinsies! I love strolling around supermarkets too :') My boyfriend finds it a tad strange, but tags along quietly :P The lemon cookies sound great; i love about any food with lemon flavor <3
ReplyDeletehaha I think we have the same taste in snacks! love everything you've picked up here!
ReplyDeleteThese all look so yummy! Though its a shame i haven't tried these all before! I can't find them here in our place :(
