Food in Process: Mint ginger tea
There is no escape from it: leg hair removal! Yes, it took
awhile but summer finally (sorta) arrived here in Holland.
The weather forecast promise us the upcoming days
to weekend sunshine and temperature above 20°
degrees. Me and my white legs both agree: we can't let
this opportunity go. Vitamine D, here I come!
Also, its important to keep your body hydrated in the
summer so here a healthy drink recipe according to
my papa: mint ginger tea.
Buying mint leafs at the supermarket is pretty expensive
in Holland so I recommend you to plant your own mint
in your yard, its super easy c:
Kind of reminds me of a glass of mojito, no?

Da Recipe: handful fresh mint leafs, atleast 2 slices of ginger, 500ml water, 1 tbsp. honey
The good thing about this recipe: you can either drink it hot ór cold!
Kind of reminds me of a glass of mojito, no?
Da Steps:
1. Wash the fresh mint with water and let them drain in a strainer.
2. Boil up the water in a deep pan with a lid.
3. When water is boiled, add the slices of ginger. Let it boil for 1 hour. Yes 1 hour.
4. Pour the water in a clean tea pot and let it rest for 5 minutes. You don't add the mint leafs straight away, otherwise they will turn yellow and that's not good :c
5. Add the mint leafs and let it soak up the flavor for another 5 minutes.
6. Ready to serve in your tea cup + add a teaspoon of honey to your liking! Enjoy!
Good luck!
