This drawing was a gift for Angelique's wedding, a co-worker of mine - I wish her eternal 
happiness! 

An almost healthy dessert with fresh strawberries and banana's with chocolate truffle ice cream!

    these are your drawings?! they are amazing. You are talented! And I love those yellow flowers. They remind me of my childhood. We used to have them all around the house I grew up in. I think I might just eat some strawberries and ice cream myself now. Looks so yummy! :)

    Mei, you already know that I absolutely love your photography and artwork. So to be drawn is an absolute honour. The graphic is beautiful and you even captured the little things like the bird cage necklace I wore, the rolled up sleeves and the knot on the shirt.
    You've made my day and "happy" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel right now. I've had a rough week and your kind and generous gesture has really touched me. It brought a huge smile to my face. Thank you, Mei. Sincerely.

    Those illustrations are truly beautiful! I like them both, but I think the first one is my favorite. That overlay of stripes of colors is such a great effect.

EN Or you can call them ‘scrubbies’ but I use them to create whip cream for my crochet cakes and cupcakes! They also make great home decorations by putting them into a maison jar! Did I just inspire you to make them as a gift for your friend, mum, girlfriend..? I’ll say: go for it! EN This week is officially my back-to-work week from my 6 wonderful weeks off Summer break. And like always it takes some time to adjust, to get my inner work engine warmed up again and like always take a deep breath. It’s kind of the same feeling going back to school but instead of school it’s work. Yay. Since it’s my first work week and it’s first of September why not kick it off with a DIY post. You know to keep our mind working! And this time I take you guys through another fruity crochet tutorial where this time it’s all about the bananas! DIY: Crochet Miniature Cinnamon Rolls

EN It’s holidays and Liberation Days in The Netherlands and with all these delicious day offs, I’ve finally got more time to do my yarn works. And yes sleeping in late is also great. But mostly I’ve been really productive with my yarn works, whereas the most recent ones - the puff pastry/Danish I have received a fair amount of likes and sweet comments on my social media. Thank you! Being productive means also I take effort and time in perfecting my yarn works but not too hard to make luckily!
