Day 2: Dreammall!
English is not a second language for the Taiwanese people obviously.
My Manderin is unfortunaly bad. I do feel abit ashamed for being a Chinese
My Manderin is unfortunaly bad. I do feel abit ashamed for being a Chinese
and not knowing Manderin very well (all I can speak properly is 'xie xie ni' - means thank you). I was trying to buy a bag of macrons with different flavours but
the saleslady didn't understand me.
That day we went to visit this massive mall.
And we were lucky: the mall was empty, there was nearly no one shopping in there, which was also scary sometimes...
It was a regular workday, so I guess most people were working their butts off
instead of shopping and having fun lol.

Haul: food & pair of socks. Ha.
The ferriswheel is on top of the mall. Like themepark meets mall. Or something like that :P

What I really like about this, was the people were nice enough to let me photograph their stuff :D
These fake, silicone foods are extremely well done!
Yes I have ordered a kidsmenu. And it was nice!
I'm Feeling: sick :cMusic: Ed Sheeran - The A Team I love his voice! And he's so cute!

ReplyDeleteWow that second photo with the stairs thingy is so cool! Definitely visiting Taiwan one day :) The language barrier sucks - when I was in HK, the people there couldn't really speak English OR Mandarin which was really surprising! I couldn't speak Canto so.. yeah we had a bit of trouble communicating haha.
ReplyDeleteI'm Chinese and I barely know any Cantonese T_T
ReplyDeleteTaiwan looks really fun! Especially Dreammall(awesome name!). It's surprising it was pretty empty when you went~

The mall looks likes fun. Any shop that allows photography gets top marks in my books. People are getting more and more fussy about this...which I really do not understand. Come on, if people really wanted to copy your stuff, there's many other ways to do it still. Why not let us bloggers snap pics and in the process help you promote your shop?
ReplyDeleteAnywayz, it looks a wee bit like some mall in Japan :D
nice
