TBS // Himalayan Charcoal Facial Mask

EN

The clay facial mask, perhaps one of my favorite skin care product (here a similar review) and today I have a favorite one for you guys: The Body Shop - Himalayan Purifying Clay Mask. I am a simple-noob when it comes to skincare but atleast I know that cleaning your skin the important step one and that's what I always try to do.

The Body Shop Himalayan Purifying Clay Mask has been out for some time and I remember that TBS has a promo on this mask and the other serie masks by giving out free samples. I could have got some but I got lazy and the promo just expired. Anyways I have bought a jar at the end and so here's a review and it's positive one. But you probably know that already.

Final Thoughts

I try to use this mask once a week and I use it after I have washed my face with a cleanser, exfoliate and toned my skin. Then I apply a layer 1-2 of this clay mask on top. I have been using it for more than a month now and so I think I can release a quite honest review about this product.

Firstly, I love it! The first time using it, my skin was buuuurning thanks to the tea tree oil but I guess it means the product has activated on my skin and is working. The following weeks when I reused this mask the burn feel has reduced a lot and my skin seems to have adjust to this treatment. You should leave the product for about 10 min and washed it off with lukewarm water.

My skin feels like it`s been through a deep cleaning because my skin feels smooth, soft and refreshed and looks great too in the sense of visible minimized pores.

  2. i loooove the vegan superfood mask lineup from the body shop. the packaging is so cool too imo. i've been using the amazonian acai energizing one (that has the texture of a raspberry jam and smells like it!) but i've been planning to get this one once my TBS blue corn mask is empty. i'm also curious about the chinese ginseng and rice clarifying mask :P

  3. I've just started using clay masks last week. Unfortunately, I forgot to cleanse first, so I'm sure I didn't get the full effect of it. I used the atec clay masks (the one you make yourself). Maybe if that doesn't work out I'll try this one. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Hi Mei!

I love how you continued and persisted diligently with your blog :)
This may sound weird but I kinda like the burning feeling my skin gets from it haha Not if its too much of course.
I haven't tried this particular mud mask but I have the ginseng one from this line and I really like it! I want to try the others too. Will you be trying the others from this line?
