hk/香港 HOTSPOT: Lo Chiu Vietnamese Restaurant

EN

One of my first meals in Hong Kong was at Lo Chiu's Vietnamese Restaurant with my sweet familie members. Lo Chiu has 5 chains in Hong Kong and we went to the one in Jordan. We tried to reserve a table but it was so crowdy in the restaurant that we kind already knew that it impossible. We had to share a table with a couple of strangers which this is quite common and normal in Hong Kong.

Also! Lo Chiu has won some pretty impressive food awards! I can honestly tell that the food was nice and to make it even better: they don't charge you the 10% service charge! Woo!

We had:
1 tasting platter
1 curry shrimp with rice
4 iced Vietnamese cendol drink
1 beef pho
1 pork steak pho
1 shrimp hand rolls
We started off with a tasting platter full meaty goodies. Smelled great and looked delicious.
These hand spring rolls were delicious! It came in 4 pieces from 2 rolls
cut out.
It was very crowded at Lo Chiu`s all tables were occupied by strangers from each other. Exactly there`s a stranger sitting at your table along with your family.
This was me and my aunts dinner, the yellow curry in casserole with shrimp. Lightly spicy and incredible tasty with rice.
A refreshing coconut drink with beans and pandan jelly. Not my favorite type of drink but it was a nice cooler after the curry.
The service was a bit slow because of how busy it was I suppose. Understanding! I know how to kill time and this is why I always have my pencils in my
pencil case with me.
