DIY: Crochet Miniature Cinnamon Rolls

EN

It’s holidays and Liberation Days in The Netherlands and with all these delicious day offs, I’ve finally got more time to do my yarn works. And yes sleeping in late is also great. But mostly I’ve been really productive with my yarn works, whereas the most recent ones - the puff pastry/Danish I have received a fair amount of likes and sweet comments on my social media. Thank you!

Being productive means also I take effort and time in perfecting my yarn works but not too hard to make luckily! Especially the snail rolls (cinnamon rolls/pain aux raisin) are really easy and fun to make. And because sharing is caring, I’m sharing you my little secret of making these crochet cinnamon rolls!

Instructions
The roll
filling // R1: magic loop with 6 chains.
dough // R2: 2x single crochet in each stitch (12)
filling // R3: 1x single crochet (1st stitch), 2x single crochet(next stitch) repeat till the end of this row (18)
dough // R4: 1x single crochet, 1x single crochet, 2x single crochet (24)
dough // R5: 1x single crochet (24)
dough // R6: turn, 1x single crochet, slip stitch the last stitch to close the circle.

cut both yarn, pull through and leave a tail.
Also, work in the backloops (except R6)! It will create more dept in the spiral.
The icing
1. Use about 20 cm piece of yarn and pull through a needle
2. Pull the needle from inside-out of the side of the cinnamon roll, go over and across to the other side of the cinnamon roll and pull through this time from outside-in.
3. Now you repeat step 2. by zig zag all over your work. Make a knot with the both ends to secure.

A tip: keep the yarn not to tight or to loose!.';">Use about 20 cm piece of yarn and pull through a needle

Use the same yarn as the dough
R1: magic loop + 6 chains
R2: 2x single crochet (12)
R3: extra chain, 1x single crochet, 2x single crochet, slip stich last stitch, cut, pull through and leave a long tail.

Attach with this long tail with the sides, in particular the frontloops of the cinnamon roll all the way around.
I stuff toy filling (polyester) when I`m halfway through closing up the bottom.
