Project: Spicy Rose Latte
EN
Another fall-inspired recipe
and it’s a warming one too! May I present: spicy rose latte.
I’ve made chai latte’s
before (here and here) and I’m happy to add this version to my latte list
because it’s jam packed with flavour! If you like rose tea I hope I just convinced
making this easy pea recipe!
Psst, it’s caffeine free too

Pssst, learn how to make frothy milk with just a microwave too! A great add for this rose latte too or for your coffees of course! |

Alweer een recept met een
herfst tintje eraan. Eentje die je lekker opwarmt bij koude dagen - mag ik u
voorstellen: pittige rozen chai thee!
The Recipe*2 cups water (500 ml)
½ cup dried rose buds
4 slices of fresh ginger
¼ tsp. pepper balls
¼ tsp. gloves
*it's caffeine free
You can add more or less, it really depends how spicy you want.
Once boiled and shimmered, sieve your freshly brewed tea in a jug/glass and store it in the fridge. You can leave it overnight if you want for more intense flavor!
Create frothy milk with the microwave!
Set microwave to 270 WH for 30-40 sec.
Don't overshake because my milk got too stiff. Oops, but still delicious!
The Steps
- Throw everything in a pan and let it boil over high heat.
- Once boiling cover with a lid and remove from heat and let it shimmer for atleast 30 minutes.
- Restrain Now you can enjoy your spicy rose tea latte!
Add desired sugar (I use honey), (frothy) milk and/or grounded cinnamon on top for maximum taste!
Hahaa that empty cup. I use honey for my tea too and love it. Great recipe, I will try it for sure. Looks so exotic, :))).

THIS IS AMAZING. I'm such a noob when it comes to teas and coffees, but I'm convinced I'll have to try this out in the future.
