My Bum Bag/Belt Purse Wishlist!

It’s official! The booking of my hotel and flight to Barcelona has been settled down and all that is left to do is count down.
Meanwhile I’m getting myself ready for this trip. And I want to buy a bum bag/belt purse because of it’s efficiency and security.

I’ve heard Barcelona has many muggers…

And for this matter it is better to avoid them, because it stinks. So I want to arm myself in style with a bag around my waist.

I remember I used to own a bum bag when I was a child. It was neon pink and I used to store food in it, how surprisingly: sweets!
Too bad this neon pink bum bag would only receive appreciations among kids.

Luckily bum bags nowadays are hot and have a fashionable lift up and are so stylish! I’ve been searching online through webshops and I have collect and made a wishlist, check them out!

De boeking van mijn hotel en vlucht naar Barcelona is nu een feit en officieel en nu rust nog het aftellen. Ondertussen maak ik mezelf reisklaar! En ik wil daarom heel graag een heuptasje bemachtigen vanwege de efficiëntie en de veiligheid.

Want ik heb gehoord dat Barcelona best wel veel zakkenrollers zijn.

En voor deze zaak is het beter om ze te vermijden, want leuk is het niet. Ik wil mezelf dus wapenen in stijl met een tas om mijn middel.

Ik weet nog van vroeger dat ik zelf een heuptasje had. Het was neon roze en ik gebruikte het om eten er in op te slaan en hoe verrassend: snoep!
Helaas zal dit neon roze heuptasje nog een waardig blik keuren bij kinderen.

Gelukkig hebben heuptasjes van tegenwoordig een modieuze lift gekregen en zijn dus super stijlvol! Ik heb de www. afgestruind en heb een mooie verlanglijst van deze heuptasjes gecreëerd, check ze uit!

    I absolutely love fanny packs! ;) I have been eyeing one, like you said they are very helpful for security reasons. My friend mentioned to me how heavy backpacks can be and also you don't know what the person is doing behind you. Even if you put a lock on it, in many countries they slash bags and steal what they can that falls out. :( Wearing it in front of you can become bothersome. Hope you have a wonderful time in Barcelona soon and can't wait for photos! :)

    I also thinking of getting a belt purse after seeing my friend wearing an Adidas waist pouch during my Perth trip travel. It will be very convenient to put your wallet and handphone in the pouch. However, one thing about belt purse is that it will be troublesome to remove every time you go washroom.

    Woohoo, have a great time in Barcelona!! I went last year and actually didn't encounter any muggers although I know it's a good idea to be careful. I hope ou have a wonderful time - I really loved it when I was thre! X

    I had no idea what you were talking about when you said "bum bag" but then I scrolled down to the pictures and was like "ohh, fanny packs!" I remember people used to make fun of them, probably because of what they're called. I never knew that there were stylish versions available! I'm still not sure whether or not I'll get one.     I didn't realise bum bags were back in! Sometimes when I travel I use one of those travel wallets you wear under your clothes to keep some spare money in in case I get pickpocketed.

    Ik wist niet dat er zulke leuke heuptassen bestonden. Ik kan me alleen die afgrijselijke dingen uit de jaren '90 herrinneren. Die ik trouwens ook had haha.

    Ah, how exciting! I adore Barcelona and I've been craving to go back for a while. Honestly, when I was there I felt safe, but you can never be too careful. It's always best to take precaution.

    I had a bum bag when I was younger, too. I thought I was so stylish, ahha. The Alexander Wang one is super cute!

    The core of your writing whilst appearing agreeable initially, did not sit very well with me personally after some time. Someplace throughout the sentences you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately only for a while. I however have a problem with your leaps in logic and you might do well to fill in those breaks. In the event that you actually can accomplish that, I could certainly be fascinated. check

EN Or you can call them ‘scrubbies’ but I use them to create whip cream for my crochet cakes and cupcakes! They also make great home decorations by putting them into a maison jar! Did I just inspire you to make them as a gift for your friend, mum, girlfriend..? I’ll say: go for it! NL Of ze worden ook wel ‘scrubbies’ genoemd en ze zijn bedoeld om je lichaam mee te wassen en te scrubben. Maar mijn versie is klein en dienen ze als toefjes slagroom op mijn gehaakte taartjes en cupcakes! Ook doen ze aardig als huis decoraties bijvoorbeeld in een leuke glazen pot! EN This week is officially my back-to-work week from my 6 wonderful weeks off Summer break. And like always it takes some time to adjust, to get my inner work engine warmed up again and like always take a deep breath. It’s kind of the same feeling going back to school but instead of school it’s work. Yay. Since it’s my first work week and it’s first of September why not kick it off with a DIY post. DIY: Crochet Miniature Cinnamon Rolls

EN It’s holidays and Liberation Days in The Netherlands and with all these delicious day offs, I’ve finally got more time to do my yarn works. And yes sleeping in late is also great. But mostly I’ve been really productive with my yarn works, whereas the most recent ones - the puff pastry/Danish I have received a fair amount of likes and sweet comments on my social media. Thank you! Being productive means also I take effort and time in perfecting my yarn works but not too hard to make luckily! Especially the snail rolls (cinnamon rolls/pain aux raisin) are really easy and fun to make.
