Yarnfood Saturday

EN

I love making and creating small things with high detailing and this goes the same with my yarnfood works!

But wouldn’t it be nice to create a bigger version where you can hug it, grab it and be a great part of your home interior I was wondering?

This is where I decided to try to make a stuffed big cake and just to see if it even fits in the home décor without being too sweet or girly.

Firstly the yarns.

I’ve been searching and digging through different yarn shops to find the suitable yarn for this project of mine. And it has to be thick yarns because I want to use a size 10.0 mm hookpen. I’ve chosen for cotton and acrylic or with real wool, just to give it a different texture feel of the stuffed cake.

The making of this cake is quite easy! Working with bigger yarns is usually easier to handle than with thin yarns so it was pretty fast in finishing them.

And I’m pretty happy with the results! Please check them out below!
