Peek into my life 58

EN

Congratulations to all passed Dutch highschoolers with their exams!
I remember that me and my best friend didn’t went to our highschool graduation party because we both thought we did horrible with our highschool exams but turned out we passed all our tests! So yeah we missed our graduation party/prom, boohoo.

Lately the temperatures in Holland have reached high peaks as we had 30°C+ last week Friday followed by heavy rain and thunder but this follow up is quite common and normal here.
Unfortunate I had to work on Friday but with this hot day and because it was TGIF I rewarded myself with ice cream. Or bubble tea!

My most recent bubble tea visit was at my favourite bubble tea shop in Holland: YoYo Fresh Tea Bar. In my opinion they are the closest thing to the real deal and I’ve decided to visit one of their most newest location. And ordered the classical bubble milk tea with tapioca and sat down working on my yarn stuff.

Because I work best when I’m outside at a café or coffeeshop.

My best friend A. celebrated her birthday last month and me and my other friends organised a surprise party for her!
My best friend A. was feeling blue and down for a long while so I was happy to be part of the organizing the surprise party and to see A. all surprised and smiling.
We spoiled her with presents and food!

We hired a catering who specialized in ‘Moluccan’ food because A. really wanted it and it was my first time eating it as well. Everyone enjoyed it and our belly was happily stuffed.

I also had my first shisa smoking in my entire life! What!

I’m a die-harder against smoking and cigarettes but, sigh, I tried shisa smoking at the end. Mainly because one of my friends brought a nicotine-free steaming stones (raspberry flavour) that totally convinced me.

It tasted like candy!
Have you smoked shisha before?

Suuurprise! Party!
I really love the plating style!

Because I didn't want to miss any Modern Family show on tv so I went chopping in front of the tv.

  2. Haha aww, that's a silly reason to miss the graduation party/prom! In high school it's really difficult to see past grades and classes because it feels like our whole world, but now we know better :) // Bubble tea!!! Bubble tea is my FAVORITE. I'm always in a bubble tea mood. // Happy belated birthday to your friend A :) // Can't wait to see more about the Japanese Market! // and lol that quote -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

  7. Ooo, I must get myself some of that watercolor paper! May I ask what the price was? c:
Shisa pipe smoking seems really interesting. My brother has one from a random shop in Turkey but I'm scared to try >_< I had never heard of Moluccan food before! It looks really yummy though!
