Only real kids can feel this magic

EN

Last week me, my co-workers and a class of 11 kids went on a fieldtrip! Just to make sure: I work at an elementary school in one of the earliest grade class so that means I work with the youngest kids.

I’m pretty sure that most of you all loved going on fieldtrips during our childhood at school time because this means no learning for a day and just having a fun exploring time!
I loved all kind of school trips whether it is just a small one to the woods or big annual ones like going to a themepark or a zoo.

And last week we took our kids to a big indoor playground ‘Bambini – play circus’ and it was one happy play time for the kids and for a grown up person like me.
Bambini has ball pits (with ball canon), bouncing castles, slides, endless climbing possibilities through tunnels, ropes, foam walls and all of this made my child-in-me-heart beat harder and harder. I want to play. And we played.

The kids loves to see a teach being playful and lets be honest how fun is it to bury a teach with plastic balls in a ball pit?!

Besides the playing we also ate because playing makes our belly rumble and so we ate French fries with mayonnaise, ‘kaas soufflé’ (typical Dutch but so good this deep fried cheese), popsicle and drank soda.
After that we continued carefree playing.

I hope the children had a great time and I’m sure they do. I self did!

  3. I can't remember the last time I went on a field trip! Working with kids is awesome, because kids somehow always bring out the kid in you, which is a nice change of pace from the rest of society who is always telling us to grow up :P -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
