Blogmeeting at SET Restaurant

EN

Precisely last week Friday, me Yak man and Jessy met up for a blogmeet and no blogmeet is complete without food and so we met up at The Hague for a Japanese lunch!

And our Japanese lunch was taken care by SET restaurant that was recommended by Jessy who has eaten at SET before and trusts me; SET has probably the closest thing towards authentic Japanese food!
And it was not an all-you-can-eat style like the post here before.

It was about time to meet up these girls which I’ve been following them for a few years already! And I wasn’t really nervous meeting them because I knew somewhere we would get along and we sure did with Japanese food, speaking Chinese (Cantonese!) and snapping pictures!
My other previous blogmeetings: herehere,here!

First of all, Jessy made a reservation which wasn’t really necessary because SET was pretty empty when we arrived but you never know right? SET has a lovely cosy Japanese interior with a lot of wood and curtains and that really set the mood! Did you know that they also have a Hello Kitty themed high tea? Yes!
Maybe we should that next time, Yak Man en Jessy c: ?

Ik voelde me net eventjes in Japan wanen!

We sat at a cozy table with cozy but unfortunate dim lightning so most of my pictures had flash on.
And don't worry we did not abuse this service bell ;)

My drink, appetizers and starter

My bentobox:
My delicious bento box 'fish' with good portion and a good decent price!

Then I tried their 'mango calpis soda' which was lovely! It reminded me of candy.

Here's what my fellow foodies ordered:
Yak Man ordered: tempura ramen! Looking good no?

And Jessy ordered: yaki soba noodles, which was really YUM as well c:

Thanks Yak Man for the poloroids!!

Thank you girls c: (gosh I look so wasted ha..)

  2. I'd really love to do a blog meet up! I thought about making a post about it and reaching out or something, but I haven't connected to any bloggers in my area around my age. I guess by reaching out via my blog I might be able to discover some if anybody responds, but I'm really nervous! Also, I don't know when I'd do it, because I feel quite busy with school. I'll keep this idea in mind though :) Anyways, I was going to say, "omg I read all your posts, how could I have missed your blog meet up posts?" and then I realized that your last blog meet ups were in 2012 and 2011. The desserts from this meet up look especially delicious :) -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
