DIY: Emerald Crystal Ring

EN

I have finally got my crafting mojo back on with my Fimo clay! They were kind of stored away in my drawers and, yeah neglected.
I guess I lost a bit of interest in them since I started to focus a lot more on crochet/knitting.

But they are back! And back in a new, short, always easy DIY of mine called: raw crystal rings, specifically emerald ring made with Fimo clay!

Raw crystal jewelry are beautiful and very loved by many of us ladies but yeah they can be quite pricey. So that’s why I came up with this DIY! A lovely (fake) emerald one c: Make your own!
I hope you’ll try it out!

Maar Fimo klei is back in town!

You'll need: any desired colored clay, a blank ring, Fimo liquid deco gel/translucent liquid sculpey (TLS), knife, oven
Lots of chopping! My tip: just Google some pictures for examples c:

 Done!

Da Steps:
  1. Squeeze some Fimo liquid on top of the blank ring. This will work as glue c:
  2. Form a ball first and start cutting the ball in halfs. Set aside the other half and with the 2nd half you basically start of chopping/slicing edges.
  3. Once you have all these edgy chopped up shapes, you press them all together. Don't press it too hard or you'll lose those edges that we want!
  4. Then you place it on top of the glued blank ring and pop in the pre-heated oven 110° C for 30 minutes!
