Healing

EN

I think we are all aware of the plane crash of flight MH 17 which happens 2 weeks ago. I’ve mentioned before in my blog that July might be my favourite month of this year, but after this tragedy, it’s not, and this whole thing is just sad.

I’m glad I don’t have people that I know are on that plane, but it does make you think. Flying suppose to be one of the most safest way to travel.

It’s been awhile since I have made drawing and actually finish it (I procrastinate, darn).
I’ve made this drawing for the people of my country. Because they say time heals and we are  healing.

  1. Beautiful drawing and I share your sentiments and hope that everyone can look towards celebrating the lives of those lost instead of dwelling on the tragedy. July seemed to be an awful month for the news in general :( here's to a better latter half of 2014 xxx

  4. What a beautiful drawing you made.
And I'm sure flying still is the safest way to travel - luckily, these kind of things don't happen so often...

  6. Prachtige tekening. :'(

  18. I was so shocked when I heard about the news of the MH17! How is it possible that such a tragedy could happen. Though I was in Australia, it just angered me to be a citizen of the world and just accept that something like that happened. It is a beautiful drawing and it's nice that you didn't procrastinate to finish it.

  20. You are so amazing at drawing, I don't think I've seen them before! All these plane accidents are kinda starting to make me worry, what with three occurring within a week (Malaysia (#2!!! even the fact that there's a #2 to specify is appalling), Taiwan, Algeria). I had to fly out from Taiwan the following week and boy was I nervous, but thank goodness I made it back safely. My friend's friend and his family and girlfriend were taken during the first tragedy with MH370, and I had another friend who was supposed to take that flight for an event hosted by my school, but cancelled last minute because her IB mocks clashed with the schedule.
