Project: vegan burgers!
EN
A few weeks ago, I’ve made
these delicious vegan burgers with sidedishes: homemade potato wedges and a
salad for dinner! Is it just me or vegan is really popular nowadays? The
trendpage of Instagram has atleast a picture or 5 that is a healthy food.
Anyway, these burgers has
chickpeas in it, one of my favourite beans/legume on this planet if you ask
me c:
This recipe is really easy,
all you need to do is to combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and fry
them on a pan!
I hope you try it out c:

Da Recipe: 1 can chickpeas, ¾ cup oatmeal, 1 medium carrot, salt & pepper, 2 medium cooked mashed potatoes , 2 diced onions, 2 diced gloves of garlic, cayenne pepper, handful of (fresh) basil, 1 tbsp. oregano
Looks like real meat, huh?
The recipe of these super delicious baked potato wedges by clicking here!
I've made myself hungry...
- Dice the onions, garlic and carrots. Cook the carrots with a cup water for 5 minutes, to make it a bit softer.
- Mix all the ingredients in one big bowl super combined.
- Make burgers in a size of a golfball, and flatten it down to make a dice.
- Heat up a frying pan with oil on low-medium heat. Place the burgers in the pan on fry for around 2 minutes on both side, you can check if they are brown.
- Serve it on a typical bun with sauce!
Good luck!
yum yum yum!

The patty really looks delicious! I love beans but I can't eat beans and bread...too much carbs for me! I'd totally want to make a mushroom patty for a vegan burger! Still, your burger really looks delicious and flavorful and those wedges! YUM!
ReplyDeleteYum! I also like to use tofu as a substitute for meat for my veggie patties.
ReplyDeletelooks delicious! and those potato wedges! wow!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a vegan but these look SO good! I must give your recipe a try one of these days xx
ReplyDeleteMmmm the ingredients that are put into the burger sound like a delish combo!

Omnomnom!
