Since one of my good friends has her own apartment, I’ve been crashing at her place quite a lot lately for dinners, homework and movies! It made me realise I should start to find a place of mine I think… But yeah first I have to find a pile of money.

 When I was little I always dreamed about my own place and how I’d decorate my home. Especially with the great interior pictures in the internet world.

Oh and it hailed! And disappointing no snow :c I actually don’t mind to have some North American weather right now, I want snow!

Een van mijn zeer goede vriendinnen heeft onlangs een eigen huisje. En ik kom graag over de vloer bij haar voor het avondeten, samen huiswerk maken of gewoon filmpje pakken. Het realiseert me dat ik misschien ook mijn eigen huisje moet zoeken. Maarja no money! Oh well. Het enige wat ik wel doe is dagdromen over mijn toekomstige huisje met de leukste meubeltjes…

En onlangs heeft het flink gehageld bij ons! Helaas geen sneeuw… Hoewel ik liever van warmte hou, in de winter hoort sneeuw en die moet echt wel komen hoor!

Seriously thinking to cut my hair again. A bob again maybe?

The Taiwanese drama show 'Meteor Garden' truly my favorite 'Boys over Flowers' show of all. 

The hail reminds me of sago and I instantly craved for bubble tea.... 

I'm Feeling: motivated

    It's nice to have your own place. Maybe you can get a part time job? That's what I did when I went to university and I made enough to live on my own.

    the first photo looks like it's coming from a 35mm film camera since it has that kind of soft, grainy ambience/feel. love it ;)
    people i know who have long hair end up cutting theirs to either bob or shoulder length hairstyle, i wonder if it's a trend..meanwhile here i am dreading the fact that why mine doesn't seem to be growing at all x__x

    Oh man, ik heb alleen de Japanse en Koreaanse versies van Boys over flowers gezien. Meteor Garden gaat nu zeker op mijn to-watch lijstje. En nu heb ik zin in een toetje!!! Whoa!

    i always had a thing for decorating my place. and rearranging any chance i got! i always got bored and with the changing of the seasons, i always had to change up the furniture. but as i got older and got more adult furniture, it became harder because the furniture was heavy.. but sometimes i still find myself trying to switch up little things :)

EN Or you can call them ‘scrubbies’ but I use them to create whip cream for my crochet cakes and cupcakes! They also make great home decorations by putting them into a maison jar! Did I just inspire you to make them as a gift for your friend, mum, girlfriend..? I’ll say: go for it! NL Of ze worden ook wel ‘scrubbies’ genoemd en ze zijn bedoeld om je lichaam mee te wassen en te scrubben. Maar mijn versie is klein en dienen ze als toefjes slagroom op mijn gehaakte taartjes en cupcakes! Ook doen ze aardig als huis decoraties bijvoorbeeld in een leuke glazen pot! Ik zou zeggen: maak ze voor je vriendin, mama, GF!  Echt een leuk blij makerij c:    You need:  Cotton yarn or wool ,  crochet hook (cotton = 2 - 3 mm, wool = 3 - 4 mm) ,  scissor ,  needle       I've actually stuffed a bit of stuffing in it.    The Steps: Row 1: chain 11 Row 2: skip first stitch and start with the 2nd stitch (see picture)

EN This week is officially my back-to-work week from my 6 wonderful weeks off Summer break. And like always it takes some time to adjust, to get my inner work engine warmed up again and like always take a deep breath. It’s kind of the same feeling going back to school but instead of school it’s work. Yay. Since it’s my first work week and it’s first of September why not kick it off with a DIY post. You know to keep our mind working! And this time I take you guys through another fruity crochet tutorial where this time it’s all about the bananas! Happy bunch of bananas because a banana provides good energy to our body, anti-stress and of course is a good snack for every monkeyheads like us! DIY: Crochet Miniature Cinnamon Rolls

EN It’s holidays and Liberation Days in The Netherlands and with all these delicious day offs, I’ve finally got more time to do my yarn works. And yes sleeping in late is also great. But mostly I’ve been really productive with my yarn works, whereas the most recent ones - the puff pastry/Danish I have received a fair amount of likes and sweet comments on my social media. Thank you! Being productive means also I take effort and time in perfecting my yarn works but not too hard to make luckily! Especially the snail rolls (cinnamon rolls/pain aux raisin) are really easy and fun to make.
