HOTSPOT: Bangkok Thai Restaurant

EN

Maybe I should be in Thailand - Bangkok (sponsor please?) if I want to eat real delicious Thai food but the chain restaurant ‘Bangkok Thai Restaurant’ in Hong Kong – Tuen Mun where me and my family had lunch is pretty close to the real thing I must say! What does Thai food means to me? Spice, seafood, coconut and curry. This restaurant ticked all the boxes, my friend.

I love eating curry. Its my #1 comfort food and their green curry has to be the best green curry I have ever tasted in my whole life. I can still taste the curry in my mouth, it was really good.

The interior was quite spacious, not too outdated or over fancy and there was airco. And the staff was friendly with a smile (you deserve my tip!).

Check out the pictures and my verdict!

Fried rice something...

All I need is a bowl of white rice and a splash of this green curry and I'm a happy person.

Rice noodle spice salad!

'Tom yam kung' soup with squid. Super spiceyyyy

I love to try out unusual drinks, and this one is refreshing and puts down the 'spiciness' in your mouth ha.

And this is what we have for dessert!

  13. If you get sponsored to go to Thailand, take me with you. I can do the translating.
Haha, I only speak fluent Thai when it comes to ordering food.
You need to try "kah-feh yen" aka Thai iced coffee! It's the best.

  18. for me, thai food is about sour spicy, coconut, curry, pineapple, seafood and then... my stomach acid behaving poorly which leads to gastric acid reflux, lol. painful especially when i belch since the acid climbs all the way to my nose augh.. -__- that one time when i couldn't wake up from the bed due to stomach acid. OTL

like you, i love curry! and i like trying out different curry from various countries.. japanese one feels home-y while thai curry feels...sort of wild, just like indian and nepalese ones. i really wanna try pakistani's curry though..heard it's really really good, even better than indian curry..

i'm drooling over your green curry ;___; how dare you. LOL
green curry reminds me of pandan~ *o* and i love both of their green color~ *drools everywhere* is that green chicken curry though? do you like thai's roast duck curry?

tom yummm~ LOL no pun intended. did you cough after the first taste of the soup? xD i was told that if you coughed after the first taste that means the soup is spicy enough to be called tom yummy kung haha..

    coconut milk is really really good, riggghhtt ;___;

ack now i'm drooling and i have this weird churn in my stomach like i just ate something sour... djekhwlk

  20. Okay now I must cook! Everything looks so delicious. I love seeing restaurant post / reviews even though there's only a minimal chance I'll ever visit those places..But you'll never know and it's fun to have seen food photos and read experiences beforehand. :)
