DIY: raspberry beanie

EN

Recently I’ve finally finished my beanie! I wanted to create an inspired 'BF beanie' but I didn't want to crochet an ordinary beanie so I’ve added a texture to it that looks like bubble plastic. Or a raspberry hence the name ‘raspberry hat’!

I love my new hat a lot! Its really casual, warm yet fun at the same time. And it hides your bad hairdo as well ha.

Crocheting this hat is really easy and fun. Please try it out!

You need:  2x 100gr of any desired color yarn, crochet hook 3 - 4 mm.

This is why they call it a popcorn stitch: it pops!

After 30 rows of popcorn stitches and single crochets, I've seamed up the top and have used this Youtube video for instructions.

  2. Wow amazing the stitch is great, and the color is so nice. I used to knit a lot, I even knitted myself a scarf, but now I don't so much. I should start doing it again though, making your own things is always cool.

  6. Cute! Looks fun "popping" out the textured bits haha. I'd love to learn to crochet - I guess I don't have the patience to, yet. Seems like a good activity for when you're waiting for something or on a bus, I've seen people do that!
