A great future doesn't require a great past.

EN

Wowie, late post today. I just got back from a family birthday dinner and it got late. But my belly is filled with nice Chinese and dim sum!

I can’t believe next week is Christmas Eve already! I am looking forward and not. Again, December is a bittersweet month with happy times like the holidays and closuring.

And December again made my wallet bleed as in my mind ‘Christmas shopping’ is the right *cough* excuse to spend. One of the things I’ve bought is ‘Haruki Murakami – Norwegian Wood’. I’ve once borrowed this book from my cousin before and read it to page 42 and from that moment I really badly wanted to finish this book! Tho I still have to read 2 books first but heck, I love my new book c:

Ha! I have you and I'm gonna read youuuu! Who else have read Murakami's work?

 One of my Birthday/Christmas present c: a felt bag! I've always wanted a felt bag.

Fudge cappuccino.

 So lately I've been clearing out my jewelries and accessories and tiding up my jewelry case. I'm pretty satisfied with this look c;

 Also, lately I'm keeping a 'dream diary'. Writing down my awkward dreams and maybe to understand it? I don't know its quite fun to write it down lol.

  6. Adorable outfit. And I love how you're storing your earrings, something gorgeous and delicate the way it is. I hope this month will be filled with much more happiness before it ends. I'm sure more qill come about not just the christmas shopping and wallet bleeding.

  9. Cute outfit, it looks amazing on you! <3 Haruki Murakami is one of my favorite all time writers. Norwegian Wood in particular, is on my top 3 list of books. :D If you have finished reading it, I would really like to recommend South of the Border, West of the Sun--also by Haruki Murakami himself. ^^ And I really like the look of the felt bag, I never thought that they would look this classy! :) Lastly, if you want to figure out your dreams, you can also download dreammoods app. I've been using it for months now and it is so handy. You can also record your dream by speaking. (But I don't know if that really works haha.) What are your plans for the winter break? Did you also eat Tangyuan yesterday or today? ^^

  16. I really like your felt bag! The small, dark grey bit is a nice contrast on the bag.

    I haven't read The Norwegian Wood, but I did read Murakami's After the Quake, which was pretty interesting. It was surprisingly tragic and calming at the same time.

  18. Honestly, I've never read any Murakami books... I bought IQ84 and A wild sheep chase but haven't gotten around to reading them...too many books in my waiting list and time isn't being very friendly so :( but yeah, I get what you say about buying new books even though the old ones are still there :P there's a bliss in that haha

    Latte art is gorgeous *o*

    Love your outfit by the way. I like wearing such style though the weather in here is always so warm... -___-;; sigh.
