DIY: crochet berry cheesecake

I know that US having their yearly Thanksgiving soon and I can’t help but to create a DIY foodie again. It’s a simple, small yet cute crochet ‘berry cheesecake’ and of course with the same pattern you can create any cake you want! I’m making a chocolate cake with mini raspberry at the moment c:

Ik weet dat Amerika bijna hun jaarlijkse Thanksgiving vieren waarbij er o.a. veel gegeten wordt. Dus ik dacht dat het leuk zou zijn om een DIY met jullie te delen: ‘bosvruchten cheesecake’ te maken. Geen echte maar een gehaakte versie! Met dezelfde patroon kun je natuurlijk een andere soort cake maken uiteraard c:


 You need:  crochethook: 2.5 /3 /4 mm, white + red + dark blue acrylic wool/cotton, cotton filling, scissor 




The Steps:
 Cake 
R1. Magic loop, 6 sc
R2. ch 1, dbsc around  
R3. ch 1, sc, dbsc, repeat
R4. ch 1, sc, sc, dbsc, repeat
R5, ch 1, turn, sc all the way and connect the end with the beginning.   

R6. ch 1, sc on the backloops all the way. 
R7. this is where we start to build height of the cake: sc all the way. 

To close the bottom of the cake, turn your work when finished your final
row. Sc and decrease in the frontloops.

 Berries/strawberry 
R1: Magic loop, 4 sc
R2: ch 1, dbsc first st, sc the rest and all the way
R3. REPEAT
R4. ch 1, decrease all the way.
