Big Buddha, hi! 1
My 12 GB memory card is packed with my holiday
pictures of Hong Kong and one of the first things I did
in HK was visiting my good ol' friend Big Buddha at
Lantau Island. It's been 17 years since my last visit
really.
I was looking very forward and couldn't wait to re-visit
this place again. Big Buddha is located at the tip of the
mountain and you can get there by using the bus or
cable cart. Since there was a huge line at the cable
cart and I hate waiting, we chose to take the bus.
The day began with a drizzle. Luckily
Big Buddha wasn't so packed with tourist tho I can tell
there are more people than 17 years ago. Check out
my sightseeing pictures!

Oh hi there!
I was impressed of how strong the bus were cuz we were riding on steep mountain roads. Not to mention the beautiful view.
I thought I was reading 'pizza'...
I thought this panda backpack is cute.
Time to burn some fat people!
The first thing I've noticed are these stray dogs sleeping or wandering around.

I swear I saw the same dog when I went there a few weeks ago! I went a bit too late and they had already closed the gates to the stairs. The benefit I guess was that I was able to photograph the space around the Buddha free of tourists! I am envious you were able to climb up close though. Last time I went up there was when I was 4 years old!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your blog post's
ReplyDeletelike this one :)

That dress is neat. :p
