DIY: crochet red velvet cake

Did you know that when you add buttermilk or vinegar
to chocolate it will turn red? I didn't know either.
But thanks to this chemical reaction the
red velvet cake was born! I have never eaten one before but
I'd love to dig my spoon into this creamy, fluffy, chocolaty-looking
cake! But right now I have to deal the one that I have now: a crochet
cake with stuffed cotton inside! And its a fluffy one c:

I've adapted this pattern from 'Onesheepishgirl' and her 'rainbow cake'.
So I suggest you should visit and learn the pattern from
her page, because she is seriously one of my favorite DIY blogger
particularly her knitting and crochet skills! Her pictures alone are
also mayor inspiring!

For this cake I've used  red and beige acrylic wool  with the following
two hooks: 3.00  +  1.25. I've only used the 1.25 hook for the attachment.
Scroll down to check the process in stepwise, stop-motion video of
the cake! It will only take you 19 sec!

Perhaps a giftidea for your cake-loving friend: a cake! But this one wont mold away and it will stay forever!
