Getting told you’re bad at the only thing you’re good at

My interview today went horrible. For this I had to cry.
And the worst thing to hear from your supervisor was to
consider quitting the topic you've chose. Like wtf. One thing
for sure: no way I'm gonna quit and start over. Apparently
my framing of words are incorrect making the entire piece hard
to follow. Funny because the rest of my classmates find my piece
manageable. I really don't know what to do now.
What should I do folks? What should I do...

By the way, my respect for actress Angelina Jolie really.
She's beyond a strong and beautiful woman. I wish to be
strong as well.

My collection of plastic juice bottles - saved for storage/DIY/home deco purpose!

I decided to try out these frozen instant macarons that I've bought in the supermarket. They are not bad at all! A bit chewy. And abit ugly looking too.

Totally addicted to this 'aloe vera' yogurt drink, while some of my friends creeps out of the floating pieces in it..

I'm Feeling: lost and drained
Music: Jhameel - Waves - Seriously, I am in love with him and his music.
Food: oreo's
Drink: tea

    Keep it up!

  6. Those macaroons still look good! :)
One horrible interview means you'll likely do better and prep more for the next! I'm not sure what it's for exactly, but you'll always know what to expect later on (:
Maybe they didn't like your proposal, but instead of scraping all your efforts, you can change what they didn't understand, such as the wordings! Good luck and I hope everything goes well !!
    You have my support :D

    Love the sketches!
And speaking of strawberries, did you see my pineberries?

  9. Sorry to hear that about your interview :( so good that you're defiant not to quit and start over though; stick with it! I swear half the time the supervisors never know what they're talking about. They can't see past their dusty textbooks and understand what you're trying to do!

  18. Haha, ugly macarons :P

Don't give up! That's such a mean thing for the supervisor to say, to anyone. Someone like that should be giving you advice on how to improve, not tell you to quit. That's just unacceptable! :( Don't give up, do your best ♥ ♥ ♥

  19. When things go bad for me, I personally like to eat my emotions. Judging by your photos, you have a nice variety of that to choose from ;)

  20. don't give up! we all get put down once but we just have to stand back up and keep working on it. if it's something you love, keep practicing and then sooner or later it would be too perfect for anyone to say no to you!

  21. I'm sorry that your interview didn't go well. :c
It always hurts when someone says that you're horrible at something you've always been confident in; confidence really takes a hit!

Hang in there! I'm sure your piece was great. Never, never quit!

  22. Ohh that sounds quite bad at all! Don't give up - you can learn from a defeat and this makes you stronger for sure. It's better not to listen to your supervisor of quitting, there is always a second chance.

  29. Your supervisor shouldn't be saying that! They should be your mentor and encourage you to do better. Just keep moving forward to improve but don't give up and quit on something that you put a lot effort into.

Angelina Jolie is indeed a strong woman. She's so grounded and with that aspect I admire her so much.

  46. Your title struck me a lot as I've recently felt this way too. It really sux to know that one could do something so badly when it is something one is otherwise good at. I feel for you.

On the bright side, the frozen macarons look yummy. Same goes for the aloe drink.
