New toy: lens!

I would like to introduce my 12-50mm
to you all! The lens was entirely wrapped
thinking the shop accidentally sold me
a blue colored lens. Thank God it was only
tape, lol. But would have looked somewhat
artsy
in some way.

So why didn't I purchase a whole new camera?
My E-PL1 is convenient and I just love the
analog exterior look. I have taken him to so
many places, I could not find it in my heart to put
him in a dusty corner. Speaking of emotionally
attached huh?

I will probably extend my camera collection and
lenses in the future. I haven't forgot about the 600D
yet! It shall be mine someday...

I haven't played around much with it yet. I can tell that the zoom does a better work than my previous 14-42mm lens.
The lens is abit on the large size which I find the only drawback on the 12-50mm. I would have preferred a smaller lens.
oh well.
I've also purchased 2 filters: UV filter and a macro 4+ filter.
Testing the macro filter: I am not really blown away yet.

  1. Congrats on your new lens ;) I get pretty attached to items too, haha. Which is kind of bad, because I feel like a hoarder at times!

  9. Your lens is so nice! I'm hoping to get a new DSLR for my birthday.

That flipflop flower is so cute! I have a few of those- one in my car and one in my office. I was addicted to those, and when I went to Korea I stocked up on all the colors and handed them out to friends. :)
