City: Deventer

I had a sleepover at my
cousin, niece and nephews place,
yippie!

I love playing with the kids as
they totally sucked my energy
away: reading books, playing
Lego's, videogaming, being
funny all the time...

My cousin has this huge
garden where she grows her greens.
It was pretty fun, as the kids
were enjoying in the mud
and watering flowers - as I was finally
free for a while from them, haha.

"I'm a toucan sis! Bwa Bwa Bwa!".

Making a beautiful fishbraid for my niece!

The idea for planting them in pet bottles was to avoid these pesky snails.

This is actually a home for wasps.

Love the idea of the bottles! Looks very creative haha. And the wasp house looks very cute, though I would be a bit scared of going near that area ;p

  19. What a lovely garden. I don't know if it's the garden or the pics you took of it that makes want to spend whole days there :)
We used to have one too, because Italians use zucchini's flowers and you can't buy them anywhere in Belgium, but it's a lot of work. I really miss it now...
Thanks for your posts ♥ :)

  25. the soda bottle idea is genius! Ooh we've grown zucchini in our back yard too and it's one of the rare vegetables we've planted where it's actually ended up much much bigger than the supermarket-sized ones!
